The SE270D has built in 98 single point functions and Brother thread guide system load tape. The cassette system threads your PC in 3 easy steps which even includes threading the needle for you. The coil system is also easy to use with the fast, automatic bobbin winder and a step replacement with our quick set-up reduction of the coil. You can also use the machine without the foot control with built-in touch start / stop and reverse operations. I bought a Brother sewing machine and embroidery on this site in 2005. I believe that this model, PE-400D, was discontinued. And no wonder – that a piece of garbage! In the first six months of use, I had to take in for a repair of $ 169 when the touch screen stopped working reliably. Recently (April 2007) started to exhibit the same problem. I paid $ 399 for this machine, which was a big discount on the prices I've seen in other parts of similar machines. But a trip to the store for more sewing machines and I almost bought the thing once again, with no guarantee that the final repair to resolve this problem. (Or any other problem to start cutting hair). I will donate this equipment to a worthy cause, warning that probably will never be able to do anything but straight seams. I have also taken a solemn promise not to buy another Brother product again.

However, to receive orders from the supplier, still waiting on amozon to refund my money !!!!! My daughter is still waiting for this sewing machine, she had her 13th birthday and all he wanted was for this sewing machine. She is very disappointed because his birthday was July 3. THIS IS NOT FOR seller is very poor. . . . . So far no return e-mail different, no refund of money, NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE FOR NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This Seller TEST EBay just had the same car $ 20. 00 less and it was here in 5 days! OMB What is wrong here. . . . . . . Just A Bad SELLERS !!!!!

I emailed the seller of this item for a tracking number or at least the date, and have received no response. I have not received the car. I still optemistic, and I hope it is.

I am disappointed with this machine. Although I am a beginner, and even teaching, I was waiting to give more "self-help information in the troubleshooting. Are at the point where I have memorized the manual. I do not know if there really is something wrong with the car or if I'm not doing something right. I think it's an opportunity to make the purchase online.
