I watched a lot of embroidery machines before deciding on this and I could not be happier. I already owned a sewing machine, so you buy a machine that only has embroidered perfect sense. The instructions contained in the booklet and on the screen are very easy to understand. The machine makes 99% of the work – I just got to sit and watch! How many can be more fun than this!

Watch video here: http://www. Amazon. com/review/RORNBTDZRUJV2 Brother Embroidery Machine PE-700i / B0013J8F9U In this video review of the embroidery machine Brother PE-700i, I want to show some of the basic things you can do with this machine, straight from the box. This is my first embroidery machine, although I have been sewing for several years in a brother XL2600I, and the fact that I can show you the basics on this machine only when received in the mail yesterday is proof of how This machine is easy to use. In this video review, I'll show you briefly how to load a reel, how to load the material, how to transfer a model from a computer to the embroidery machine, and how to load and change the line color. I'm going to show some projects that I finished yesterday, and talk about some potential pitfalls to avoid. (I like to see more, but the video is pretty short term!) The EP-700i is a Brother embroidery machine single use, not a dual-use embroidery / sewing machine. The reason he bought an embroidery machine for single use is that for me it makes sense to invest in a separate machine just for sewing, and therefore its expensive embroidery machine has less wear and longer life. I made an image of PE-700i and all documents and accessories out of the box. The documentation includes a detailed manual in English, the same book in Spanish, "photos only" quick reference handbook and a manual for the USB functionality of the machine. The manuals are very detailed and very useful – if you want to see in person, I think that are currently available on the website of Brother. Standard accessories are included – white linen, empty bobbins, seam ripper, scissors, parts maintenance, a 5×7-inch embroidery hoop and guide, and a plastic cover ingenious machine. For video, I selected a simple and fast two-color pattern that I downloaded for free online in order to demonstrate the functionality of the USB drive. The machine itself: it comes with a set of models-programmed, including the English alphabet in 6 different sources, but if you're like me, who is more interested in the ability to download millions of free patterns online. In fact, the outlet for the EP-700i for me was the USB standard. I distrusted the machines that require special card readers and special programs for the job – I hate to buy devices (in case of breakage? What happens if I buy a replacement?) And I like the new software. The EP-700i also comes with a USB interface standard, which means that treating the machine as a removable device like a USB stick great. Drag and drop meant I had to learn new software to use my machine and best of all, the USB connectivity is independent of the operating system – which means that the EP-700i speaks so well to my desktop and my Windows XP laptop Windows Vista. Templates can save the computer to the memory of the machine, or you can just plug a laptop in the car, use the template, and then clear the memory of the machine at that time. I can not rave enough about this feature – which I downloaded and tested dozens of free designs online and it worked perfectly. The only thing to keep in mind, as I note in the video, is that the machine is not very good to find that the colors are dependents. Ignore the color you see the model that is being finalized and food in that color embroidered directly – or follow the instructions that are numbered with the model line. You can reprogram the model, once stored in the memory of the machine, so that the correct colors, but I never felt it was worth it. Format Quick Reference – This machine accepts. PSE y. Formats DST, which I found a lot of. Loading coils: If you used a Brother machine before, this is a breeze, but even if there is a learning curve quickly. For the embroidery, I only use the white wire in the coil for everything. Video has not had time to show how close the tap, but it's pretty easy to follow user manual for this, and there are also machines for winding the coil winder SideWinder Portable economic like this if you really want to be pampered. Be sure to carefully wind the coil – like sewing an intricate coil will make your model of mud and take the color of lace at the top of the standard basis. Loading the material: The machine comes with a 5×7 circle, but also adapts to the size of another brother, circle embroidery. Ideally, you want to use the smallest ring that works with your employer, to avoid wastage of materials and stabilizing, but in the video using the link included. The machine does not come with any stabilizer, then make sure you have somewhere to start as soon as the package arrives. You can buy in any store to stabilize the material, and usually about half as expensive as the cheapest in the tissues. The stabilizer is as it seems – that provides the stability of the fabric, while the car is fast drilling hundreds of holes. In the video, I'm using a medium weight stabilizer. Loading the Hoop: I can not rave enough about how easy it is to use the circle embroidery. I've been cross stitching for years, and the opening and loading the ring feels like a second nature. Just unscrew until the liberation, the fall of the fabric in place, which appeared in the inner ring, pull the fabric taut, and the screw tightening. The completion of this place 'to enter the ring in the driving seat of the car is worth a quick mention – but not the snap ring in place, quick action is thin, so you do not go crazy trying to force a crack strong because the machine will not get one. Basically, the adjustment "is half feeling, half of half common sense. And while that can be confusing and intimidating, I assure you that I was completely at ease with the process after my first three or four charges. Queue Loads: the tail is so incredibly easy, with automated threading. If you've ever uploaded a sewing machine before, you have no problem with this, if you have not, I think you should set perfectly in less than five minutes. Lose self-threading when you return to regular sewing machine in my other brother. Pattern of detention: Once the model begins, you can stop the process at any time and for any reason. Necessary to cut the wire of the tail, protruding from the model because, instead of taking out the back? Press the Start / Stop to stop the program and truncate. Need to check the coil, because you think you are doing low? Pause the program, raise the handle, cut the current thread, remove the ring, and check the level of the tap. You can replace the coil, if necessary, then pop the ring in place, lowering the foot, and go and the team does not miss a single beat. I can not rave enough about this team. It 'easy to learn, easy to use, does pretty much everything except clean my nose for me, has been used with each model joy of cooking, and for each type of wire that have fed on it, and the screen LCD is surprisingly easy to navigate, taking into account the natural limitations of a team involved in an embroidery machine. The only problems I had with him until now was a time when the white wire tap leaked through the model on top (which was the coil wound too sloppy and the thread was tangled coil) and again when I ran out of thread tap and not pay attention when you change the coil and the resulting pattern is incomplete – and you will realize that these two "problems" have been human error on my part. I hope that my videos and photos will be useful to others, and once had great fun putting them together. UPDATE (08/23/09): Still happy as can be with my embroidery machine. I'm back with the manual more thoroughly this time and discovered that not only can not stop automatically when the reel or spool is running low, is also very easy to go to a specific part of a model – it can also move Stich point of the model to get to * exactly * where you want to start or restart the case. Another thing I learned is clear that the small box in the upper left corner of the machine represent the three ring sizes Brother commonly used with this machine – and when a window is "gray", which indicates that the model is too large so that the size of the ring. Very nice! I definitely recommend taking the other, the smaller the ring (Brother SA443 Medium Embroidery Hoop 100mm x 100mm) for embroidered initials and names on clothing and linens – the small circle is much more manageable, in my opinion.

I am new to the world of machine embroidery, to find the instructions that came with the car very vague. Not knowing what is spoken in the world makes it difficult to understand things. I went online to various websites and received basic education and now you can at least stumble through basic structure. The book of instructions for the machine does not explain what the team, as the displays are, what they do, because it would do a certain thing. . . nothing. I found by chance on a web site that the script is used to create a space to use the sources. Basic information like that should be included in the machine. But as for performance, I love it! Once something of DO, which worked perfectly and made some beautiful drawings.
