I purchased the item with the hope of making use of it on my Brother machine but alas your info failed to mention it only works on a few models and mine is not one of the ergo I wasted my money Doreen Boyer

This cassette for the Brother sewing machine works great. Using more than one cassette when embroidering makes the job go much faster.

I am very happy with the Brother SA250 Thread Cassette. It saves me time because when the embroidery machine asks for changes in thread colors, I already have it ready to change.

Good price fast prime shipping Only came with orange spool adapter–need others to be able to use with my whole thread collection–does not work well with sulky small spools when using orange disk–have not found a place to purchase Special adapters yet.

This is the second sewing machine I’ve owned with a self-threading feature. The Brother SA250 Thread Cassette works very well. Once in awhile it misses and you have to repeat the process, but it beats doing it the old-fashioned way!
The other machine I have is a Simplicity. I never could get the self-threading feature to work on it. I bought the Brother SE270D to replace it and didn’t hold out much hope for the self-threading feature to work, given my previous experiences. You will not be disappointed with the Thread Cassette!
Especially handy to load several ahead of time for your embroidery projects. I only have 2 cassettes and they work fine for my embroidery. I plan on buying a few more to keep loaded with black and white sewing thread.
I no longer fear self-threading machines!!!
